Ioco Townsite turns 100 years old

The Port Moody Heritage Society is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the start of the Ioco Townsite. The Ioco Townsite stands as one of few surviving early company towns in the Lower Mainland. It is a distinct district with special heritage value to the City of Port Moody, and has been identified for long-term protection for heritage conservation purposes. One project that the Society is undertaking is to create a digital book of Ioco memories. If you have memories that you would like to share please email
