Welcome our new fall Staff

The Port Moody Heritage Society is very excited to welcome our fall staff this week. Thanks to a Service Canada Grant we were able to hire these wonderful students and look forward to all their new ideas. We will be open on Labour day, Monday September 7th come and say hello!

Mitchell is a third year SFU student majoring in history. He enjoys reading and playing board games on his free time when he is not training in Martial Arts. He is looking forward to helping the museum with research in this upcoming season.

Paolo is in his fourth year at Simon Fraser University. He is majoring in international studies in the International Development, Economic and Environmental Issues Concentration. When Paolo is not studying, he is training as he is a member of SFU’s football team. He hopes to go into Law school. You can find Paolo working on our social media, marketing or doing research for exhibits and programs

“Hannah is a hardworking environmental student at SFU and is in her third year. In her free time she enjoys video games and artwork! She’s very excited to be joining us at the Port Moody Station Museum this fall and hopes to spend the next four months working in our collections, researching for exhibitions and helping build a new program.
