Located next to Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, the Station Museum is a gem of rail history and local heritage in the Tri Cities area of the Lower Mainland.

By Transit

The easiest way to get to the Port Moody Station Museum by public transit from any location is by SkyTrain. From the Moody Center Station walk West either through the parking lot or on St Johns and walk over the overpass. The Museum is on the opposite side of the overpass and access is possible by following the path under the overpass.

Busses that pass close to the Museum are the 160, 180, 181, 182, 183, and 184.

By Car

From Coquitlam Centre: Go west on the Barnet Highway; Barnet Highway becomes St Johns Street in Port Moody, follow until you reach Moody Street and turn right. Go north over the bridge and follow the roundabout, turn left onto Murray Street, then take an immediate left again into the Museum parking lot.

From Lougheed Mall: Go north on North Road, North Road will become Clarke Road and then St Johns Street. stay on St Johns Street until you reach Moody Street and turn left. Go north over the bridge and follow the roundabout, turn left onto Murray Street, then take an immediate left again into the Museum parking lot.

From HWY 1: Take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 to exit #37, follow Gaglardi Way, turn right on Broadway Avenue, turn left on Clarke Road. Clarke Road becomes St Johns Street at the bottom of the hill, go straight until Moody Street and turn left. Go north over the bridge and follow the roundabout, turn left onto Murray Street, then immediately left again into the Museum parking lot.

From Downtown Vancouver: Take Hastings Street through Burnaby until it becomes Barnet Highway. Continue on Barnet Highway until you reach Port Moody. Turn left onto Clarke Street and follow until the end. Turn left onto Moody Street go over the bridge and follow the roundabout. Turn left onto Murray Street, then immediately left again into the Museum parking lot.

Parking is by donation. Our parking lot can accommodate many cars or one large bus.
