LINC programs are designed to teach students about local history and heritage in a relevant and engaging way. Programs are designed to work with differing levels of English knowledge. All programs are 90 minutes.

Community Services Then and Now (Levels 2-4)

Get a tour of the museum and role play Community services from the 1900’s. Practice purchasing a service such as milk delivery¬† by role playing providers and consumers.

Transportation and Communication (Levels 3-5)

Get a detailed tour the Museum focusing on its role as a train station and communication hub in early times, walk through the McKnight WW1 trench, go onto a 1921 Train Car and walk through our meditation garden. We finish the day with a scanning activity within the museum.

Mystery at the Museum (Level 5)

Enjoy this interactive and engaging program provides the participants an opportunity to solve a Mystery through clues and conversation and by utilizing the Museum displays.
