Support the Museum!

Become a part of the society that runs the Port Moody Station Museum with a 2016 Port Moody Heritage Society Membership. The Port Moody Heritage Society welcomes new members to become a part of it.

In 2015, the Port Moody Heritage Society hosted 30 events for the community! We had many items donated to our artifact and image collection,  many school groups were able to enjoy our educational programs and we made a lot of new friends!  A big thing for us in 2015 was the opening of our  McKnight Centennial Trench exhibit which has created new programs and events.  Join the Society in 2016 for another great year!

Your membership helps support the operation of the museum .  You get to a newsletter to let you know what’s happening around the museum (4 times a year). You will get to vote for who you want on the Board and Executive at the Annual General Meeting which happens in Spring .

Membership numbers influence grant money coming into the museum as well and provide a large part of our budget for maintaining and displaying the collection.

Membership price:

Individual $10.00

Family $15

Corporate $75

Life time $500

PMHS Membership Form

Donations to the museum are always gratefully accepted. Tax receipts are provided for donations over $25 or by request.

Celebrating Heritage

2010.061.026

The Port Moody Station Museum will be celebrating Heritage on Monday February 16 and February 22nd.

On the 16th, we invite guests to the museum for a guided tour to learn about Port Moody’s history! There will be a great activity for the kids, where they will color buildings and create what early Port Moody would have looked like in the 1900’s. They then can participate in a scavenger hunt.  On February 22, We are proud to participate in an event celebrating Heritage,  that is being held at Queen Street Plaza. From 12 noon – 4 pm, please stop by and enjoy celebrating with us!
