Weekend events September 29 and 30

After our amazing Ioco festival the museum now starts fall with some spectacular in door events.

We invite you to our Great War talk series this Saturday September 29, 2pm

Historian John Goheen will talk about the Hundred Day Offensive. It is this offensive which ended the Great War. Beginning with the Battle of Aminens the Allies began to push the Central Powers back.

Enjoy a afternoon at the museum, bring along questions you have about the Great War or share your own family history with us in an informal gathering after the talk.

100days talk
On Sunday September 30, 3pm join us for the Venosta Radio Show as we take you back to the days before television when families would gather around the radio to be entertained by stories, ads, and music. Enjoy a free behind-the-scenes look at how a 1920’s radio show was executed. This free, fun event is held at the Inlet Theatre, Port Moody.

The Expect Exceptional Theatre will perform three vintage episodes of  Flash Gordon.  There will be no intermission but three commercial breaks between episodes.  Run time 1 hour.
