Rain or Shine!

Ioco Ghost Town Days has occurred annually since 2002 celebrating the heritage of the Ioco Heritage Conservation Area. A grassroots festival started by the Friends of Ioco, notabally our own heritage treasure Mary Anne Cooper and Jim Millar. The event has been organized by the Port Moody Heritage Society (PMHS) since 2009.

The festival is a free family event, held on the Brilliant Circle Groups portion of the Ioco Heritage Conservation Area.

On September 23rd is our Main event which will be held at Ioco Road and 1st Avenue, Port Moody from 12-4pm.

We have historical tours going through the town site, pony rides, local artists, a theatre group, Theatrix reenacting a 1900’s picnic at the townsite, musicians, dancing dogs and a magician. We have many vendors and community groups participating,  from your own pop up City Hall, the maze and Heritage Commission. This year we are adding a new area called Artists at Work ! This will be held on Ioco Road and 3rd Avenue, you can watch artists working away and have a chance to buy their art as well!
