Great War Talk and Candlelight Vigil

Make sure to join us Friday November 10th at 7pm for the Great War Talk and Candlelight Vigil in honor of Remembrance Day.

The event will start with a talk about the Battle of Passchendaele by special guest presenter John Goheen. Afterwards, a candlelight vigil will be held in the trench at 8pm. Playwright Charlotte Cameron will be reading from her one-act play Running: The Alex Decoteau Story. The Play tells the story of Alex Decoteau, who was the first Indigenous Police Officer in Canada, a runner in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics and finally, a message runner in the Great War who died in the Battle of Passchendaele.
