Join us this Saturday our Great War Talk. We are starting this years exciting talk series off with a look at art during the Great War. We look at the War Arts Program, learn some more about some specific paintings.
Then March 4 we will continue the series with Knights of the Air.

The two smaller photographs are pictures taken by Australian photographer Frank Hurley. “The morning after the first battle of Paschendaele” Showing wounded Australian troops. There are quite a few version of this picture featuring different dramatic cloud formations. They are actually composite pictures used for propaganda purposes and extra drama.
