Come on down, say hello, and get in the spirit of “Ghost Girl at the Port Moody Museum” – showing tomorrow at the Inlet Theatre at 4PM. We have lots of seats available so bring the whole family down! And don’t forget to come down to the old Ioco Townsite to celebrate Ioco Ghost Town Day next Sunday, Oct. 4, from 12-4PM!

Sunday, September 20th- TRENCH TALKS

Location: The Port Moody Station Museum

Time : 2pm

Join the Port Moody Station Museum for the first ever Trench Talks! On Sunday, September 20th, 2015 at 2 pm we will be hosting a free, World War I, information event. The day will feature a guest speaker, talking about Canadian involvement if WWI and a display and demonstration of WWI weaponry.  RSVP today to or call (604) 939-1648.

The Port Moody Heritage Society is proud to partner up this year with Expect Exceptional Theatre Company for our 3rd Annual Radio Show. Join us as we take you back to the days before television when families would gather around the radio to be entertained by stories, ads and music.

Chair Yoga on Mondays at the Port Moody Station Museum

The Port Moody Station will be introducing Chair Yoga as a new Monday program beginning on Monday September 28th.  Program runs from 3:00pm-3:30pm with tea afterwards. Program Cost is $5.00 per session and will be taught by Yoga Instructor Linda Moncur.

This new program will stimulate physical and mental well being through seated yoga poses that move the spine in different ways. This will be accompanied by conscious breathing and soft flowing music. Directed towards seniors and people with limited mobility, but all are welcome.

The Port Moody Station Museum is in need of volunteers for our upcoming Ioco Ghost Town Days happening on Sunday October 4th, 2015. The event will take place at Ioco Road and 1st Avenue in Port Moody. It will be from 12-4pm and we need volunteers to help with set up from 8am-12pm, We need people to help with games, displays and work the tables from 11am-4pm and then we need individuals from 4-6pm to help with take down! All individuals that volunteer between 8am-4pm will be provided a lunch.  Please contact the museum at 604-939-1648 or email if you are interested.
