Fingerling Festival

IMG_2682

On Saturday, May 2, 2015, The Port Moody Heritage Society was happy to participate in the Port Moody Ecological Society’s annual Fingerling Festival.  Children were able to visit the hatchery and were given the opportunity to help with the release of 40,000 juvenile salmon into Noon’s Creek. There were many displays about community initiatives and environmental stewardship. We had our train outfits out for the kids and some fun old games for them to play! We look forward to having a display next year!
