Antique Appraisals at the Station Museum

Once again we celebrate Heritage Week by offering antique appraisals at the Port Moody Station Museum on Sunday, February 26th.

Think your family heirloom might be worth something? Trying to hone your picking skills?

Expert appraiser Al Bowen will be at the Museum from 1-3pm to give you the value of your antique of choice. Appraisals will be done in order of arrival. We ask that participants stay to enjoy the appraisals of others.

Price is $15 for 2 items – tax included. Cash or cheque only.
Reservations required, call 604-939-1648 or email

Proceeds go to support the Port Moody Heritage Society and Station Museum.

Ioco Ghost Town Day

For those of you who don’t know, the Port Moody Heritage Society owns and operates the Port Moody Station Museum. In addition to this work, the Society organizes events like Ioco Days and projects like our upcoming history book.  The Society is made up of individuals who care about Port Moody’s past and we are looking for a few good people to join us.

If you aren’t already, we encourage you to join. Annual memberships cost $10 for individuals and $15 for a family. Your membership entitles you to receive the Heritage Society “Station Telegram” newsletter, invitation to member only events, discounts on certain Heritage Society events and rentals and the right to vote at the Heritage Society AGM.

Membership fees support the work of the Heritage Society including maintaining its artifact collection and educating the community about Port Moody’s heritage through programs, events and information services at the Station Museum and elsewhere.
