The museum has a number of beds. There is the one under the greenhouse I posted a picture of in the previous entry. I recall a very nice crop of corn in there last year. There are also a number of beds in the Heritage Garden. Some of them have vegetables and some flowers.
This picture shows the museum looking past one of the two raised beds which bracket the driveway entering the museum grounds.
Of course my little ancient digital camera doesn’t do justice to the pretty flowers. There are different flowers in bloom through the seasons. I know there will be many plants in bloom for Victoria Day.
Victoria Day also marks the beginning of Summer Hours at the museum. From Victoria Day (May 21) to Labour Day (September 3) the Museum is open for Summer hours:
