The Port Moody Station Museum celebrates CANADA DAY! Spend a day at the museum. Family fun for everyone. Hot dogs and drinks, face painting, music, free Canada Flags and lapel pins. There will be a quilting display and demonstration by the Hoy Creek Quilters on both July 1 and July 2. “We encourage the community to visit the Museum and help us celebrate Canada Day. Take a tour, visit local history, wander through our heritage garden and enjoy.” says Jim Millar, Curator/Manager. “Kids of all ages love to go through our 1921 Vintage Railcar and see how life was during the popular era of train travel”.
The Museum is also looking for volunteers for Canada Day. Anyone wishing to become a volunteer is asked to call 604.939.1648.
All proceeds goe to support the Port Moody Heritage Society, which owns and operates the Port Moody Station Museum.
